I need help. I need to hear from someone that has been around oil field winch trucks. I have a1970 IH 1700 loadstar. I have made a single axel tractor out of it and put a pto winch on it and ginpoles to lift stuff but I need to find out what is the best way to keep poles from comeing to far over and laying on cab. Write now I keep them laying back which limits my lift weight. I also want to thank every one here. I enjoy looking at and hearing about trucks.
