Mick Gould of Flimwell, East Sussex runs a fleet of heavy recovery trucks that includes a Kenworth,a Peterbilt and, I believe, a Western Star.

It was possible to buy an new Kenworth in England in the late 1970s and early 80s.
Dando's of Chipping Sodbury were the agent and they sold a few.

Most were used on low loader work although some went on general haulage and a few were bought by owner drivers for Miiddle East work.
Some have since been converted to recovery wagons for their second life.

There are a few on the show circuit these days but unfortunatly,it is rare to spot one still at work.

Cheers
Mark
