I am not aware of any connection but IBH may be able to tell us more about hy-mix.
Hymac did invest money in crane development but excavators was still their main product for which they were renown.

Hi, no connection at all with Hymac, Hymix started building mixer drums in Hortonwood Telford Shropshire in 1988/89 and I think the company was set up by some old employees of Ritemixer, my father had the sixth mixer to be built by them in 89 on a 2421 Leyland Constructor for Topmix.

I'd recently posted a message about a photo of Ritemixes Old Factory that id found in a old thread id missed on here. So I'm curious as to why Hy-Mix set up in Telford when Ritemixers factory was at Chesterfield ?

Do you have any more info on Hy-mix or any photos of there products ?

Tidy unit Steve Is it one of yours ? The Big boys fleet always look clean these days and even the small minimix firms tend to look reasonably smart. And nowdays washing out on sites often a problem with the wastage and wash off & the environmental officers insisting on contaiment of all run off water.

what size truck is it ? (i not up on Renault truck sizes) looks bigger than 7.5 ton but smaller than a 17 tonner ?
