Smaller than the Peterborough show but for a new venue it appeared well attended with some Truckfest regulars and some not seen before. The engine pic in the Peterborough thread is the blue/white Peterbilt in post 2 here.
Lots of polish and superb paint jobs are a credit to every exhibitor but my favorite of the day had to be the Commander. Haven't seen one up close for years and certainly didn't expect to see one here. I'd forgotten how truly huge they are! For those not familiar with it, 10' 6" wide, 29' 6" long and 11' 6" high. This extract is copied from Graces Guide 'This 100 ton+ GTW tractor, fitted with the Rolls Royce CV12TCE 26 litre, 48 valve dual-turbocharged 625 hp intercooled V12 diesel engine, semi-automatic gearbox and Scammell 40 ton bogie was required to have the same acceleration and braking performance as a contemporary 32 tonner!'
Sorry, gone a bit off topic...
