Wrekin Construction, would be good! A contractor that owns and maintains a large plant fleet for its own use, and they're not afraid to modify it either.

Long Eaton Plant Hire would be a good one, So would an article on any derbyshire firm really! I really enjoyed your J C Balls article!

Collins Earthworks of Kirkby in Ashfield would be a very good article! They run a fleet of all Volvo machine apart from there D6's and backhoes...Just recently started up/bought into a soil stablisation firm. Ive been on a few jobs with them and they seem to be a good outfit! Specialists in major earthworks and reshaping of earthworks!

Not the best website but it gives you everything you need.

But the Sun is just trying to poke its way through the clouds so no doubt the other half will have me out this afternoon doing horse related crap !!

spent this saturday giving my 98 discovery a birthday ,it got new front pads ,valve clearance adjusted ,then a new timing belt ,i also cleaned out the intercooler and engine breather canister ,i fitted a spare alternator as the rev counter was not working ,i replaced the axle oil,s and check the gear and transfer box levels
who ever did the timing belt last put locktight on the pully and crankshaft ,instead of on the big bolt and it was a nightmare to remove
i then steamed the engine off as the rocker cover had been leaking for a while
its got 125.000 on the clock now ,it had about 65.000 when i got it
cheers graham
