AROUND 50 jobs are set to be created in South Derbyshire after digger giant JCB announced a £45 million investment in the area.
The firm announced it has invested the cash in its JCB Power Systems factory, in Foston, to allow it to start production on a new six cylinder engine – the JCB Dieselmax 672.
The money has been used to research, develop and test the engine and establish a brand new production line at the factory, just off the A50.
