This weekend the Digger Blog made its annual pilgrimage to the Royal Cornwall Show. The event, which is held over 3 days at the Royal Showground nr Wadebridge, is a must attend event for locals and local business’s alike and there is always plenty of construction machinery to be seen.

For nearly six months, a heavy Case crawler excavator of the CX700B ME type has been used by the company Backes Bau- und Transporte GmbH, from Auw. The task has been extraction in the Dockweiler pit located in the centre of the volcanic Eifel region, providing a mobile crushing plant with basalt and lava, for use in its own use in road construction.
