Taking centre stage in the Caterpillar hall was the "sustainable solutions" display which featured the company's focus on innovation, technology, product support, and remanufacturing.

Amongst the items of kit on display was the new Cat 336E hydraulic excavator which is one of the first Caterpillar machines to meet European stage IIIB and Enviroment Protection Agency Tier 4 interim emissions standards.
The 336E is a replacement model for the out going 336D and as you would expect features a more powerful engine, increased digging and lifting performance, the all new E-series operator cab, and improvements to the access of service components.
