In the second part of this post we continue to look at the machines on display at last weekends ScotPlant show which took place in Edinburgh.

On the Finning stand two excavators from the D-series range were on display sporting the new style cabs which are now being fitted to the latest E-series of machines.

First up was a Cat 329D L powered by a Caterpillar C7 ACERT engine which develops 190hp and has an operating weight of around 66359 lb

Secondly a cracking little 312D L which is fitted with Caterpillars C4.2 ACERT engine rated at 91hp and with an operating weight of 29696 lb. This machine looked resplendent in the livery of its new owners R & J McTurk of Cumnock, Ayrshire.
