What is the life expectancy of the mining equipment before needing to be rebuilt?

Our company is looking into offering rebuild services for the mining industry since we are currently rebuilding Airport Fire Trucks around the world and Fracking equipment for the oil industry. We have been in the rebuild business for over 40 years and are ISO 9001:2008 certified.

What companies are out there that offer services to have units be completely torn down to the frame and rebuilt back to OEM standards as when it was delivered new?

We are having complete rebuild equipment turned around in 90 days. We are seeing a cost savings of 50% instead of buying new. In this day its all about how far can we stretch the dollar and get a quality product in return with tightened budgets.

Anyone interested let me know and we would be glad to come out to visit your equipment or have you visit our facilities in Dallas, Texas.

Thank you for your time and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Jerry S.

The CAT dozers here run 12'500 hours before being shipped back to the dealer for a rebuild. Than again at 25'000 .. Rebuilt again and see another 12500 before being sold as third lifers.

Finning do the rebuilds here ..

Not sure about the rest .. They just keep running and throwing money at them I supose.
