Does anybody have a schematic of the oil flow on the Muir hill 101 tractor extra flow hydraulics ? How is the auxiliary pump supplied oil?
Thanks Shaun

Shaun,
What kind of hyd set-up have you got on this tractor, only because if its the Ford 5000 back-end then really it should only have a pump mounted in to the rear axle housing on the r.h. side.
Have you got one driven off the crank at the front?

Re: Muir hill 101
Richard thanks a bunch for the reply the ol girl has the regular pump on the side of the transmission then it has an auxiliary pump on the rear of transfer gear case that is run off an extra pto Muir hill calls this pump extra flow hydraulics it sits way up high on the back of the tractor above and just ahead of the rockshaft housing. The pump picks up oil from the bottom of the transmission housing but I'm wondering if there is a check valve or something in that line that I'm missing because my pump isn't getting any oil to it.
Thanks again shaun
