jcb 520 telehandler

HI EVRYONE
can anyone help, ive just bought an old 520 off ebay, the machine arrived today (i live in france)
it wasnt really as discribed , the back wheel looks about to collapse. i think its the top hat, kingpin thingy! the trouble is im not sure what its called does anyone know so i can dismantle and order one.any advice would be much appriecated.

Hi Jess, firstly I'm sorry your purchase is not what you expected :thumbdown: I'm not exactly sure what you are describing as the fault, but, if you post up the serial number I'll extract the correct page from the parts manual and post it here. it will show a break down of the parts on the back axle and a list of part numbers :thumbup: Cheers Mark

there should be a plate top and bottom with four bolts holding it on ,with a grease nipple in the center
it will be the bearing /bush collapsed
if your a bit handy with spanners it's a self fix job
every village has one , is yours missing you

HI EVRYONE THANKS FOR ALL THE REPLYS ,ILL POST UP THE SERIAL NO ,AND YES IT IS 4WD. ANY IDEA HOW MUCH AND THE BEST PLACE TO GET POARTS IS?

Heres the serial no for the telehandler 520-4/501289 and the rear axle serial no is oooo7. it would be great if you could post the parts diagram.

I am looking for jcb part # 448/04007 are these expensive to buy new would you know ?
