modular boom joint on komatsu
here are a few pictures of the boom on the komatsu pc450uhd i drive as i took it off to day you will se how they fit on and all the pipe fittings the root of the boom just hooks on the digging boom or the uhd boom and then two hydrolic pins lock it in to place take about half hour to take it off hope you find them interesting

Glad to see your still on the 450.I`ve got our JCB330 now,back on the crushing team.My ZX350 is still in the yard waiting for a 1000 hr service & repairs.6 weeks now
