Hi, anybody have information on how to wire lights on my Fergie FF30 D. Its a 1957 french machine with no lighting on it. There is the original light switch on the dash which looks like it should switch side lights, headlights and indicators. Trouble is, all the wires leading into the switch have been cut and removed for some reason. I have found a wiring diagram for the machine but it does not show any light circuits.
Any info would be appreciated.

If there is no wiring left, the easiest would be to pick a common model of the same vintage and follow that diagram.
I'd suggest a TED20 as a good pick.

I must admit I had to look up the model as not heard of it before.

I doubt it would have been fitted with indicators if a farm spec. I think as Ian suggests above, find a diagram for the UK diesel Fergie.

A picture of the switch may help (with pics of the tractor as well!). If you have the switch out then also pics of the terminals would be good. The TE20 was fitted with lights but I've never been involved with a factory fitted setup. The 35 was a factory fit and the switch was off-side-dip-main in a clockwise rotary action. I've never seen a TE/FE/35/135 with factory indicators. Even the Massey 40 with factory indicators was a bit of a Heath Robinson afterthought of a metal box bolted to the cab frame with 'parts bin' switches and warning lights.
Be interesting to see...
I guess if it has a period Winsum or StaDri cab you could fit it with string operated trafficators (bale string of course).
