Hymac 360C

Post #1 by allinking » Thu Jan 26, 2017 6:24 pm

Need some help with our Hymac 360c first of it has a Leyland engine am I right in thinking it is a 4/98?

I have rebuilt all the rams with new seals but have a small leak from steering box in cab is it a rebuildable?

The gearbox leaks and looses drive is there common leak points to check and fix?

Hi Tim and welcome to CMN  I take it you mean a 370C digger loader? If so I am guessing that the steering box would be able to rebuilt, however I would first investigate exactly where it is leaking from, I am not familiar with the layout of the steering system but would guess that its either a seal or hose/connector leaking.

Thank you yes it is the digger loader not had the dash apart yet to see the leak yet right now need to refurb the engine so it runs perfect but will also need to sort gearbox and steering box/valve what ever it is that controls steering ram :)
