Hi all,can anyone come up with the correct procedure for checking oil level in an early Benford 6000 fitted with a Spicer shuttle box, running ,not running and where on the dipstick?

Ah, I had the same problem with a PT9000 Benford spicer box. If its a similar design it has a dipstick under a nut, about 22mm down the side of the box, I think on the RHS? The oil must be checked with the engine running at idle. Incidentally Spicer is owned by CAT. When I complained about something I said "you don't get this trouble with a CAT," he said "we're owned by CAT!"
