Difficulty removing gearbox from Benford TT50P

Hi,

I'm having problems getting the gearbox out of my Benford TT50P. Its got a Petter PH2 engine and Newage 40M gearbox followed by a large transfer box.

I've been trying to get the gearbox out whilst its still connected to the transfer box but the whole unit is too long to allow it all to slide out of the clutch cover. The transfer box hits the chassis rail.

Am I meant to remove the transfer box first? I'm not exactly sure how the two are attached to each other if the truth be known.

Anyone got any tips?
