Re: Mystery backhoe loader
Thanks folks! It got me hunting for a magazine that i remembered i had Classic Plant & Machinery April 2008 there is a very good article with pictures about IH backhoe loaders, i have seen quite a few of the earlier 3500 models but not many of the later ones.

There's 2 3500's slowly returning to nature in NE Hampshire, the only ones I've ever seen.
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

Re: Mystery backhoe loader
Interesting to see a 260A again. The company I worked for after I left school in the mid seventies had one in their yard one day when they were looking to replace some John Deeres. They never bought one, but some years later I worked for Saville Tractors in Stratford-Upon-Avon and to the best of my knowledge if we sold any, it was very low volumes. It is good to see there are some still around though.

There's another machine in between. Look on the ground at the number of wheels. There's also the tops of two back actors in view. The IH's one is inline being a centre mount. The machine behind has the "tele" wording on top of its dipper.

Re: Mystery backhoe loader
The loader behind the two TLBs is a Volvo, something like a 641.
The second TLB looks like a white cab/grab handle so possibly a JCB of some sort.
