Jc3cx 4 idle adjustment

As title as one know how to adjust idle on a jcb. 1982 perkings engine is it the cable or can you adjust it on the pump. My cable seems to be on full adjustment. Thanks

On the injector pump,at the throttle lever where your cable is connected to,you'll see 2 adjusting bolts with lock nuts.The one towards the front is the idle stop. Sometimes a tension spring is required to pull the lever back against the stop to get tick over.
