JCB 215 ignition problem

Post #1 by johnk » Tue Jul 30, 2013 1:11 am

I has been working with the 215, stopped to talk to a person, shutting it off then went back to start it up and NOTHING... I made sure it was in neutral and tried again, still nothing. I checked underneath and didn't see anything out of place. tried again and again no luck. I checked the fuses, they were all good. It shows the normal lights in the dash and I hear relays clicking in the fuse box area, but I'm not sure which should be clicking, so I don't know what I should check next. Any ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

This may sound like a daft suggestion but have you made sure that the battery connection has not come loose and that the battery has not suddenly had a cell fail?
If the battery is okay the next thing I would look at would be the switch itself.
