Jcb 3cx advice

Hi all new to forum 65 year old in Scottish kid on Highlands just bought a 1984 3cx s/n 3cx-4/307157 p/s in very good condition except looking for supplier for 6 bolt fuel tank sender,speedo/taco cable any help would be gratefull also a manual have got to trace electrical fault in lighting circuit and new seal for glass door will be dropping in a bit for help as i develop thanks

Have you tried scot jcb in Aberdeen for parts they should be able to get parts for your machine

Hi Grant thanks for name and due to health reasons i will be into Aberdeen on a few visits hence two birds etc spent most of last two days tracing wires p/o has disconnected for some reason but will get everything electrical working in the end thanks again

Fuel tank sender should just be a generic part, replaceable with aftermarket as in Land Rover or similar.

Just bend or shorten the float hanger wire to suit depth of tank.

Obviously a genuine JCB part will save a bit of trouble but if they're expensive or unobtainable there are options.
