Re: A big hello!!
Hi Grant
Just paid £6k for it; very happy with machine.
Has 3 slight leaks on rams which I am sorting next week. Other than that, she's ready start digging away on our new stables & arena. There's around 400 ton of earth to move, donuts going to be kept busy.
How do I get photos on here???
Regards

That's not a bad price for it that's about what i'am looking to pay for one I think if you have pictures on your computer there's a bit under where you write your post to upload them I remember when we did the arena where my partner keeps her horse it was a nightmare we changed from woodchip to silica sand so had to scrape all the woodchip and and drive a good 300 yards bucketful at a time to dump it it took ages

Hi Grant
That's a Big help thanks;
As it happens, I came across some photos on a website yesterday (Old Barnsley) it's called; found on there photos of machines I used to repair in the 1980's; I cut my teeth as a plant mechanic for six years having left school. The photos are of the machines cutting the header for a 1000m depth, 1500m long drift at Grimethorpe Colliery; the machines in the pic's are a Euclid dump truck, Cat' D6'D dozer, Case 1180C & a Cat' 983 tracked loading shovel - this was the largest one Cat' made at the time & it was a monster! Good photos & found memories; anyone want to see them let me know & I will upload them
