The last 370 made was a single 370D that was made at Rhymney under the IBH period of the company history; this was just before the backhoe loader production was moved to Deruppe in France, probably 1983/4

Pete I'd say that's either a 370C or possibly a 570? Just painted in the old Whitlock livery and not Hymac colours.

Jeremy

I thought the cab looked different?

Here's one of the Hymac in Hanomag HD60 guise! Must have been built earlyish around the time of the Hymac era because if you look at the loading rams and front bucket rams they are mounted in the same position as the Hymac but the photos that newjcb123uk posted they are in a different configuration for loading and bucket crowding

I think these were the machines built by Hanomag/Deruppe after the collapse of IBH

I once had a conversation with the guy who owned this digger. This is a 370. The original cab rusted so badly on him that he decided to buy a brand new one. An original 370 cab wasn't an option and this possibly aftermarket one looked much better and so he went for it. This digger was very well maintained and wanted for nothing. It sold on ebay yonks ago for £1600.

This is a Hymac 270c machine
Not many built
I would think the year to be around 1977
Do you know of any body selling a Hymac 370c with leyland running gear
