Pigging fuel sender

Post #1 by Nephro » Wed May 16, 2012 7:06 pm

ok. I have searched I promise!
I have looked in the manual, promise!
Where will I find access to the fuel tank sender unit?
It seems to be hiding from me and I'm already peed off as I lost gallons of hydraulic fluid today BUT I'm still smiling, sort of, but while I'm sorting out this problem I'm also going to get started on preparing some bits of it to receive paint. :-)

Sent from my SE Arc S probably outside. Probably cold and wet.

Oh dear....Even had my son out there and we still cant find it?
In the picture the steering wheel isn't really this shape! it's just a way of getting the whole front in the picture.
Mark (probably), could you/someone point out which bit of bulkhead we should be able to find the sender through.
Thanks.

It's not only the digger that's doing my head in this week, the strimmer is playing up, the horse broke my only long extension lead, the fox got 2 chickens, I l knocked down 2 gateposts with the digger, I ran out of fags (biggest disaster) and to top it all the Mrs seems to be suffering Permanent S*xU&L arousal syndrome (PSAS as it is commonly known)and I am worn out!!!! (hope that's not too near the knuckle for the forum!).

Thanks

A tired David

So if you do have to lift the cab, cut a large hole in the top tank, clean if out. Make a large plate and gasket, repositioning the sender just inside the cab, then you will be able to access and replace again without all the fuss  Mark
