A friend of mine has a 3CX which is blowing a fuse when he puts it into 4wd. It runs fine in the 2wd and 2/4wd setting; but when he select 4wd it blows the fuse. He had me clean and reconnect a couple of connections under the body of the digger to see if it was a loose connection, but still no fix. At first it blew the fuse after a few minutes running back and forward, then it blew the fuse as we sat and thought about things - the drive was in neutral but 4wd was selected. When we tried it a third time it ran fine for about 5 minutes before we had to stop.
Any ideas on what is causing the problem? He's reluctant to take on any work until we fix this problem
