Re: JCB 2DX
The 2DX is a variant of the 2CX but with a longer backhoe/loader and weighs about 6 tonnes.
Using the 'Internet Archive Wayback Machine' (website that archives older versions of websites) you can view the 1999 version of the JCB website with details of the 2DX including basic specs:

Click 'Backhoe loaders', scroll down to bottom of page then click 2DX.
Specs here

hope that helps

Re: JCB 2DX
hi i had one of the first ones out in 1996 it was brand new on self drive hire ,it originally had a standard dipper but not long after they brought them out with extra dig,so all ours (4) were fitted with extra digs f.o.c it was a great little machine manoeuvrable ,powerful but not too big for utility work it had a dedicated rear quick hitch and a front quick hitch also ,nice wide Michelin tyres i had no real problems in the 5000 hrs i had for ,i was told only a few were built (50 odd) one of the old ones appeared on ebay some months ago looking a bit sorry for itself i notice there is one on there at the moment but do not recognise it
cheers graham
