Which machine do i have.

Hi can anyone tell me which 3cx i have so i can ask for parts for the right machine. Thanks

I would say you have a project 6 machine but i'am sure someone will clarify this looks a tidy machine for it's age

The black cab "P3" as it was know was launched in January 1985 and later that year in August was further updated "P4" from serial number 315000 with a host of changes including a split bonnet. In Apil 1986 the "P5" was launched with further changes including electric forward/reverse from serial number 320000.

Hope these brief details help to narror down which model you have

Hi thanks for the info its a 1987 with serial number 327159. where is the best place to get cheap ish parts and a manual for this machine. Thanks guys.

i would try your local jcb dealer first for parts they might not be too expensive or there is a place that advertise in classic tractor called awd engineering phone number 01962 885904 there ad says they specialise in new and used jcb spares hope this helps

brings back some good memorys ,i had a 1989 3cx turbo plus ,cracking machine

Is it just me or does that first hose, near the king post, feeding the hammer look a bit short and tight?
