here is a picture of my first machine ,what some memorys it had done god knows how many hours and was still going strog when i got promoted to the 50h,which had a lovely transmission aqnd was great for front bucket work, but sadly the backhoe was made of chocolate,when i left this machine had inexcess of 13000 hrs on the clock :thumbs_up:
knowing less and less about more and more until pretty soon i will know almost nothing about practically everything

I had 2 very good years on a 50HX, and you are right it was great on the front bucket, used to run rings round the JCBs but the backhoe was very fragile, more so with a extradig dipper fitted.

I loved working on the MF50Bs,we had a small fleet of them where I worked in Devon.They were very reliable and would out last other backhoe loaders on hammer jobs.The only repair was clutch pack on the torque converter 50 B,all the rest were manual.We also had two MF 300 with backhoes and a MF200 and 200D and of course the Cat 933G which I now own.All these machines were replaced by JCB 3CXs.
