I liked the 50 B 's.Good solid machine.We had a few fitted with hammers.Never had the problem we had with other makes.The Perkins engine was also very reliable.

You know i have allways had a soft spot for Massey Fergies .. i can allways remember getting work of a guy down Portmouth area, and he offered me this MF50..Oh yuk i thought, but i soon had some respect for the machine

It was 1977 then, so yes i would of preferred a JCB, but i was young and thought it was worth the experience to try other machines
