Stolen checker Uk vin jcb

Hello does anyone know how to check if a machine is stolen in the UK? I have tried car website etc but the vin number isn’t 17 digits as it’s a 1980s jcb 3cx


It doesn’t have a number plate so can’t use that but the vin is stamped on the leg still


Was they all road registered in the uk?
