Hymac 370c dashboard switches

Post #1 by Whitlock 505 » Wed Apr 13, 2022 3:15 pm

Hi
I’m getting the Hymac 370c ready for shows in the summer and I’m trying to get all the electrics up and running but the dashboard switches are really ropey, would anybody have any lying about in their sheds that I could purchase? They are arrow electrical type as fitted to JCB 3c’s I think and the dashboard hole measures approx 38mm x 20mm

Thanks
Ian

May be a silly question but have you tried RS or Mouser? They stock almost every type of switch and I'm sure you'd find a rocker switch the right size and shape.

Ian your switch looks quite angular compared to some. If you area changing all then perhaps a slight style change might be needed? A lot of the cheap one on the Internet seem smaller /narrower?

Thanks for all your replys! I’ve exhausted most avenues and I’ve taken a leaf out of our friends from across the water and refurbed one to see if it was possible, to be honest they are easy to pry apart and there is not a lot to go wrong in them, I have cleaned one out and relubricated the spring and made a new spade lug and cleaned the contacts and it works like a good un, new motto repair refurb re-use
