Hi guys just bought a Jcb 3c mk2 1976 fitted with 4 cylinder engine manual gearbox could any one tell me what type of engine is fitted to it as I cant seem to see anything on the engine. As I want to order service parts for it.

Hi and welcome to the site the easiest way to correctly identify your engine would be to post a photo of it, unless somebody knows the build spec for these machines of that year.

Hi Billy,Assuming the engine to be the original or the same as the original,it would be a Leyland 4/98NT. There should be an id number on the side of the block below number 4 injector.

Thanks guys had a look below injector 4 and with a bit of a scrub 4 98NT Can get the services parts ordered now
