Thanks for the info gecko . Will definitely look into getting some blanking plugs .
Went over to Leigh Baxter today I was impressed with the service polite and cheerful staff and they made up the hose while I waited took under 10 minutes so I will definitely be going there again .
Hose went on with no problems and I was able to use the machine again in under 2 hours . In the absence of blanking plugs I used a plastic bag and cable tie to keep out the dirt .
I have uploaded some pictures ( I hope ) . Just of the JCB , new hose being fitted and my digging project .

I have blown a backhoe hose on my Hymac 370c ,Can anyone tell me where to get one, or n easy way to fix.

It the short term you can by pass one clamp and still work. You would not want to use the hoe for serious digging but you can get out of trouble if you know what I mean.

Just look for a hydraulic hose repair shop in your locality and take it to them. They will make a new one,usually while you wait.
