3c mk2 brake discs

Post #1 by riascns » Tue Oct 29, 2019 2:35 am

I saw a youtube video the other day with an american guy changing the discs on his international tractor. He was using some kind of disk that was very different to the original (silver clutch type material rather than black). He reckoned they were far superior to oem stuff. So i guess the question is what is the best type of disc material to use and where do i get it from?

For those who have changed discs recently, what have you used, did it work out well and would you recommend?

I am thinking that using modern materials should be far superior to something 40 years old and it should be possible to have better brakes.

Thanks

Sean

You could also ask this question on the Leyland tractor forum.
