Hi guys, following on from my previous thread, after your previous help and some research I believe the engine to be the leyland and not a perkins that was also available in the machine at the time. I've attached some pics for any clarification they may be able to provide...
I'm thinking of using the following or similar in my overhaul:

or

Anyway of knowing if its a four or five ring piston before pulling it apart ? Thanks. Mick.

Could you not give the suppliers the engine No. ? What transmission do you have? I thought It possible to tell from the machine no. but I don't know from that one.

Thanks for the reply Pete. Probably being too hopeful - I'm buying parts online from overseas supplier and train of thought being I could maybe pre order the parts so I'm good to go when I get the beast home. It's no biggy, I'll just wait till I get the machine home and lift any particular numbers/dimensions of the actual machine as needed.
