Hi All, as a newbie this is my first post, so be gentle! I have just acquired a 1975 JCB 3c Mk II & one of my first jobs is to find a new door for the cab, I have looked online & most of the ones I have seen are either rotten, too dear or too far away. However, I have found a later model 3c (“W” reg ’81 I think) not very far away, would the door from that machine fit my cab or is it totally different?
I know JCB made the cab 6ins taller on the early 80’s machine, but did this affect the door dimensions? Any advice on whether this is worth pursuing? Thanks, Clayton.

I think you will find the door has different dimensions. The window were certainly different. I wonder if the said door is good and/or cheap whether or not it might cut down?

Re: JCB 3c Cab door
I did think that might be the case, the bloke only wants £40 for the door, I will have to check condition & have a measure up to see if a cut & shut job will be viable.

Re: JCB 3c Cab door
You could do with the actual dimensions and angles really. The windows a re taller on a 111 but did that mean that the roof is a different size to a 11 or are the angle of the corner posts different?
