3C/Mark3 Connecting a newer Alternator.

Hi Guy
I wonder if anyone would be able to help me out changing over my Allternator on my 3C.
The Battery has not been charging so I ordered a working one from a company Breaking JCB in the UK.
When it arrived everything looks the same for mounting although on the back the new one has different fittings on the back for the connections.
The Alternator currently on my machine at the moment has a 10mm nut fixing the main cable and a finer wire that has a smalll round cap to slip over a fine thread, but the new one need 3 slip on connecters.
Has any one got an idea of the type of Cap or a picture of the one that I need for my newer Alternator I need.
This may be a very simple fix or answer for someone but at this moment in time I have no clue of how I wire in my newer one and can not find anything on the internet to point me in the right way.
I will try and up-load a few pictures.
Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction on this.
Mick
