Re: JCB Hydra clamp seal
On another note, Im looking for a set of Hydraclamp seals for my 3c mk3, machine no. 125567
I've sent a message to diggerparts, to see if they stock them. Anyone suggest another supplier, and are the pins and nuts available for replacement.

Re: JCB Hydra clamp seal
Pah, you've all gone soft. Hydraclamp seals ???? When I started there were the big nuts & bolts but no hydraclamps. Had to get out with a gurt big round box-like spanner and a crowbar and loosen them all off, shove the kingpost acrosss, get back out again and tighten them all up. That's when digger drivers were men.
Only joking before someone bans me.
On a serious note some people would work with them loose so that they could just push the kingpost across when they needed to but that would eventually pull the rails out of shape and was something you had to look carefully at if buying a s/h digger.
