Sorted !! Finally managed to get a spare day a few weeks ago to drain the hydraulic tank and open up the inspection cover, what I found is this
Image. The screw on end came off in my hand so filter was useless. Finally managed to get a replacement from Hymac Parts, got it all fitted up yesterday and tank refilled. Now has plenty of power and is certainly not slow! Would recommend this if anyone else is having problems with slow hydraulics, reasonably cheap fix for good results.

Cheers,
Iain

Can anyone tell me what size fittings are on the hoses on the 370c , I need to get some stop ends before I remove the faulty hose,
Thanks.

I don't mean to question anyone's knowledge but are you sure an old Hymac is metric?

The Hymac 360 machines up until around the NEI era were all JIC threads, however I cannot state for certain that the old Whitlock machines were those sizes as well.
