Jcb 3c mk111

Post #1 by JcbAdam » Sun Aug 03, 2014 12:01 am

Hey everyone

I am looking to buy a JCB 3C MK111 POWERTRAIN.

•4in1 bucket with pallet forks
•torque converter

Can anybody help me?

Does anybody know where I could get one of these? I have been looking online for a few years now and cannot seem to get/find one anywhere :(

Thanks much appreciate

Adam

They are about it depends a little on how much, how far and in what condition but I guess they are getting thinner on the ground.

NI and a 3D http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/jcb-3d-mk3-powertrain-digger-not-3c-3cx-ford-massey-ferguson-hymac-case-kubota-hanix-hitachi/1073468046

Hey pete

I seen that 3D before but it's the 3c I'm looking for with the 4in1 bucket, they must be the hardest machine to get. I have yet to see one with the jaw bucket to but if anybody has any information on them or where I could get one let me know please

Thanks

And at an extortionate price too!

Over the course of a year there are loads for sale on ebay. The 3C is more common than the 3D.

Hello william

Thanks for that link, I have see that one for sale before and it looks good! Still keeping my eyes open though as it is not quite the specification I am looking for :(

What makes you say there will be more for sale over the course of a year?

I'm looking - JCB 3C MK111 powertrain with -
•4in1 front bucket
•torque converter
•jaw bucket if possible
•hydraulic breaker on the side of the machine
•slightly different wheels on the from (tread tyres)

I've been looking for years for this type of machine but can't get my hands on one but hopefully I will!

I'm also looking in the future to get -
•jcb 1 gravedigger
•jcb 4c

These are all very rare machines and nearly impossible to get but hopefully with some luck I can find one.

Thanks for your help!

Adam.

I have always checked whats for sale on ebay for this past 3 or 4 years and 3C Powertrains with 4 in 1 are not a digger you normally have to wait long to get. John Barnes on 01873 840 396 or 07768 808 287 should be able to sort you out.

If your looking one with a hand breaker and a rear jaw bucket I don't think any exist. Julian Carder's machine (pictured) remember is Brockhouse not Powertrain.

The powertrain (build 5) model is a torque converter model of the MK 111, many were fitted with a 4 in 1, not so many with the extending dipper (which made the machine very heavy). The second 2 option will be harder to find I would have thought and the last could be sourced retrospectively.

William

I had a look at that one on eBay and it looks good and I would be happy with it but how come the dash layout is different than the other dash? It's a question I've never got answered.
Also with this machine would I be able to fit a jaw bucket and hand breaker to it as it is the 3c mk111 powertrain model?

Thanks for johns number who is he? I will certainly give him a call and see if he can help me, another question william, what do you mean by powertrain and brockhouse?

There bound to exist somewhere pete there has to be still a few lying about do you not think so? I am really eager to get one if possible but I am not a fan of the extended dipper it takes the look of it I think.

Thanks for your help william and pete I appreciate it

Many thanks adam
