3c 111 slew slop
Is there any way to adjust the free play in the slew motor or is it just put down to wear and tear? Have a good 8 inches in hours makes it awkward to dig a nice hole and is more annoying than anything, when at full stretch and trying to load trailers at speed in sure the bucket sways a foot either way!

The bottom ARV has a bleed screw in the valve block if you bleed the air out it might help
Re: 3c 111 slew slop
Thanks, what do you call the arv? And whereabouts is the bleed screw located? May well be an issue as it was very low on oil when i got it

The ARV's are the bullet shaped valves in the top and bottom of the valve block with the cap head fixings the bottom one in the slew circuit can't remove the air on it's own and has a bleed screw in the valve block it's located by the slew spool half way up the block it is 1/2 inch AF, just undo slightly and slew to the right (it's been a long time it could be left) when the arm is already that way do the screw back up and test
