Black paint has less carbon in it thats why they are using it more now....
Apparently helps save the planet.

Theres a new road being built in to Weymouth,Walters has 2 Cat 385 me`s & what looks like a new JS460 with black rams.I thought the rams did`nt look too bad, till i saw another site on the way home with 3-4 JCB`s with yellow rams.I personly think all yellow looks much better.

Jcb yellow is a good colour for an excavator makes it stand out in a crowd especially against the black the only drawback for the operator is that i get pestered by f*cking wasps all day

Yes working on Portland Isle.Got my caravan a few miles from the job so its local to me in the week.I`ll see what i can do.Just looks like a load of earth works at the mo accross the country side, like a huge scar. The machines are near the main route down into Weymouth, but on a hair pin bend with no parking places. So far have seen 2x Cat 385`s ME`s,looks like a new JS 460,D6,D8 & D9T,what looks like Volvo A40`s,with viaious smaller items of plant. Will take a drive out one evening & see if i can get some snaps :)
