 Yes Martyn

Probably better than new even.

I forgot to try and get a shot in the cab :dizzy:

Every machine he does is immaculate. The Oliver OC-46 was there as well

Heres a weird early 3D Mk2 I've bought to break up for spares. Check out the massive step, huge fuel and hydraulic filler doors and the two windows in the side of the cab.

I guess that is a 1969 or70 /71 model 3D i had a 71 j reg similar the early 3D did have the big mudguards and a larger door to the fuel filler. With the big mudguards it makes it look as though it need larger rear wheels. Why are you breaking it.

The side of the cab having two panes of glass and a centre post is what strikes me - Ive never seen a cab like that, and its definately original. The digger is to be broken as I need a donor 3D for another mk 2 that i'm repairing and also theirs no reverse gear in this machine and the dipper is badly worn.

I had not noticed the right hand side of the cab, mine was not like that it was standard. I also notice that you one has the later 1973 indicator and side light (i guess they were changed at some time in it's life). It may be worth doing a serial number check just in case you are about to break a prototype up !!

The indicator light isn't original its Rubbolite (Not the usual Yorks Pye) and has been stuck on at some point. Theres no serial number plate on it unfortunately but it matters not, this old girl has to be broken. Its by no means a beautiful design of a 3D. Its way too wide. The chassis frame is too beefy and was made this way to accomodate this bizarre component (see picture) what is this to the right of the filter housing? Load monitor?

I think it´s som kind of hydralic self-levelling system.
I have the same om my 3D.
But it´s not complete, some parts are missing so i´d like to see more pictures.

(Sorry about my english, I´m from Sweden)
