Yes, I had thought of doing it like that but most of the concrete is in the bottom of the bucket so it won't get the heat the same as if I turn it upside down. Like the idea of dining out and a beer though. Good addition there. Thanks.

Thanks but teeth are shot so new teeth and side cutters will be fitted.

When I worked at Wimpey in 70s the fire method was used all the time to clean concrete out of dumper skips and worked well.
All to do with differential expansion i suppose which may be less on a bucket.

Thanks lads. All done. Teeth & sidecutters now in the scrap bin. New ones ordered today.
