Re: JCB 3C Mk3 - hydraulic system bleed
Hi guys,
I have a JCB 3C. It was not in use for 3 years and now hydraulic is obviously full of air or there is not enough oil in it. Steering is also not working or it works very slowly. How can I bleed the hydraulic system? Where can I see if there is enough hydraulic fluid in the system?
Thanks for an answers.

There should be a sight gauge in front of your right leg in the normal driving position. Piece of clear tube with markers. Make sure there is not any water or milky oil in the tank before topping up with fresh.

Thanks for an answer. I found the reason for problems with hydraulic. Both of air vents were blocked so there were a lot of air trapped inside the tank. There is a sight gauge, but it is not clear anymore. I take one vent of and measure oil level with a stick. I filled the tank to approximately half of sight gauge level. It works now.
