Re: JCB 3C mkIII with 3CX cab
That looks really well. I reckon there would be a fair bit of work to fit that cab to a 3C.

It does look smart and perhaps not that difficult?? Presumably the main area of alteration would be below the front screen losing the little lower windows in the process.. The rest would sit on the flat top mud guards. If it were a grey or white cab the lower part of the door would remove?

Re: JCB 3C mkIII with 3CX cab
hi all my 3c mark 3 powertrain has a 3cx cab mounted on it, whoever did it made quite a good job, it was like it when we bought it, it has had some lugs welded onto the bottom of the cab and then just bolted on, the only bit slightly not right about it is that a new half door has been fabricated to shut properly as a 3cx door would be too long plus the front bottom side windows have been chopped off

But how is the rear windows done at the back? The back of a 3CX cab doesnt have a flat bottom.

Of course you are right
They must have reshaped the rear of the cab losing the part that slopes down to the rear rail on the 3CX cutting it off at mud guard level?? I suppose the glass, if laminated, could be recut? The rear sceen cut down as well. Perhaps quite a lot of work plus what would a 3CX cab cost from a breakers?
