One trick Ive heard of with Land Rovers is to wedge your breaker bar against the Chassis and a quick flick on the starter. Could be worth a try in this case.

Hi,
Using starter to loosen crankshaft nut worked a treat, thanks. Now i desperately need a crankshaft pulley as i damaged the belt shoulder on old one and still can't get it off! Any ideas!

Hi, Try Paul Martin Services on 01685 788722. I'll be surprised if he can't fix you up with a pulley.
