check valves

Post #1 by jcb4cx » Sun Jul 08, 2012 10:22 am

on the new to me 3cx , it has a check valve fitted to the lift ram
i am finding it to be a pain in the rear , it does not seem to open quick enough and lags behind, which leaves me over compensating for the lack of movement ,and then it drops to quickly :dizzy: i do not have any problems grading etc
anyone else find them a pain , mines a manual control not servo

I have herd about this many times, they need to bypass the check valve for normal digging operations.. I had a check valve fitted on my 4/1 clam circuit to stop the front blade opening, it made it pretty much impossible to use mainly because it was so slow!! (Jcb eventually performed the propper fix in the end!)

I've been looking at volvo lately, but they are just far too slow on the road, just like everyone else really..
