Backhoe control patterns

Post #1 by TaylorLambert » Sun Jul 31, 2011 4:29 am

Im interested in different Older backhoe patterns. JCB, Whitlock, Ford, MF, and others. My old 1975 3550 Ford TLB is an od rig here. When we got my old Ford I didnt know it was set up like a Case 3 stick pattern. I had run thses a few years when I was a teen. Its pattern was left to right bucket, stick, boom, Swing. Later I picked up a high platform 4500 Ford in very used shape. It was THe Sherman Ford set up. I never got used to it and sold it. Seemed the Case controls were more mind friendly to me. Im sure I could have picked it up if I stayed on it but the was they platform had all the controls extened up from the floor and the loader arms shape I sold it. Dad grew up on MF and owned several but in his older years cant remeber the set up. I ve run a few 750/ 7500 Fords with the wide set controls and a few IH but they were set up like a Case with a swing on the right.
