I am not 100% sure but I thing there are dowels. Can you get hold of those rings from Ford ? or are they an obsolete not stock item ?

Sorry to butt in guys but just wondering would swapping the whole slew motor be an option ? If your interested I have couple of numbers of guys with spares, also there's a 550 breaking on eBay ! I also got a new/old stock seal kit from a friend of mine as our local Ford dealer wanted £400

i found a website that sells seal kits and these rings in australia but they want 155 dollars for 1 ring!! im getting 0ne made and i done the seals on the centre shaft today, the rectangle seals on the barrel look sound so im going to leave them. I think that will be the next step if i cant get it sorted but im feeling comfident its going to work this time! iv tried phoning about that digger in cornwall but no answer, tried about 20 times now. Thanks for the contact number il keep that in mind!! Il let u know how i get on this weekend! That website were wnting 400 dollars for full slew seal kit, good job there was a kit that came with the digger!!
